Projects Related to English Literacy

In order for the children to see the English language in action and to promote cultural exchange between the US and China, we plan to bring children’s performances to China. We believe these are an integral part of the goal to encourage reading and learning, as these programs will go hand-in-hand with the library’s mission.

Currently we plan on inviting children’s theater, children’s choruses, puppet shows, etc. to perform in the cities where there is an established Apple Tree Library.
